Important Note

Panel includes:  Mi-2, PL-7, PL12, P155/140, EJ, Ku, OJ, PM/Scl, SRP, Smith/RNP, Ro52, Ro60, Jo-1, U3 Fib, SAE1, NXP2, MDA5, TIF1-gamma, ANA, Ha, Ks, Zo.  If HMGCR antibody IgG is positive, additional testing will be performed.

Specimen Requirements

Collect

Serum separator tube (SST), red top tube

 

Specimen Preparation

Separate from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Transfer 4 mL to ARUP standard transport tube. (Min: 3 mL)

 

Unacceptable Conditions

Hemolyzed, hyperlipemic, icteric, heat-treated, or contaminated specimens.

Stability

Refrigerated.

 

Ambient: 48 hours

Refrigerated: 2 weeks (Preferred)

Frozen: 1 month
