Red (No Additive)

SST (Serum Separator)

Collection Information: 

Collect 1.0 mL of blood. Transfer 0.5 mL of serum or plasma to a transport vial.

Transport Information: 

0.50 mL of serum refrigerated in a transport vial

Minimum Sample Volume: 

0.25 mL

Remarks: 

Plasma samples from green and lavender top tubes are acceptable, but will route to a PROBL spot in the Sunquest Laboratory Information System.

Unacceptable Conditions: 

Gross Hemolysis
