Specimen Requirements

Complete order using mother’s full name and date of birth, and under “Comment Section,” list father’s full name and date of birth. Both names are required.

Whole blood from Father is required.

Specimen Type: Whole blood from Father

Container/Tube: Lavender top (EDTA)

Specimen Volume: 15 mL

Collection Instructions:

1. Invert several times to mix blood.

2. Do not centrifuge.

Additional Information: Label specimen appropriately (whole blood from father).
