Capillary specimens only.

Collection Information: 

Collect blood in a lavender (EDTA) microtainer.

Transport Information: 

Transport original container refrigerated to laboratory.

Minimum Sample Volume: 

0.2 mL of EDTA whole blood

Unacceptable Conditions: 

Clotted specimens

Stability Comments: 

Samples must be received in the laboratory and mixed with pretreatment reagent within 72 hours of specimen collection.
