Specimen Requirements

Specimen must be collected with Adeza Collection Kit.

Specimen Type: Cervical/vaginal

Container/Tube: Adeza Collection Kit

Specimen Volume: Swab

Collection Instructions:

1. Lightly rotate swab across cervical os or posterior fornix.
2. Remove swab and immerse in buffer.
3. Break shaft even with top of tube.
4. Align swab shaft with hole inside tube cap, and push cap on tightly to seal.

Additional Information:

1. Specimen must be obtained prior to digital exam.

2. Do not contaminate swab with lubricants, soaps, or disinfectants.
