SST (Serum Separator)

Red (No Additive)

 

Collection Information: 

Collect blood in a SST (Serum Separator) or Red (No Additive) tube.

 

Transport Information: 

Centrifuge and aliquot 2.0 mL of serum into a plastic transport vial. Send refrigerated.

 

Minimum Sample Volume: 

2.0 mL of serum (approximately 4.0 mL of whole blood based upon a normal patient hematocrit)

7 days

 

Frozen Stability: 

Indefinitely
