Collection Information:
Collect blood in a SST (Serum Separator). Red (No Additive) also acceptable.
Transport Information:
Centrifuge and aliquot 1.0 mL of serum into a plastic transport vial. Send refrigerated.
Minimum Sample Volume:
0.5 mL of serum (approximately 1.0 mL of whole blood based upon a normal patient hematocrit)
Unacceptable Conditions:
Gross hemolysis, gross lipemia, gross icterus

12 months (one freeze thaw cycle)
